Portraits of British people that emigrated to Zimbabwe after the second world war. They are now at retirement age but the British government, ill at ease associating itself with its former colonial past, pays them very little pension. Many feel abandoned by the British, especially as many had jobs as civil servants in the public sector. They receive the pension they would have received in 1970, without the inflation increase, which come to around £5 a week.
