Portraits of Syrian Refugees in Idomeni camp, northern greece. The Refugee crisis and the war in Syria forced many to travel to Europe seeking safety, but as the Macedonian government shut the border with Greece, this travel suddenly ended, and these peoples hopes left at the border camp where I photographed them.

  • Johan,20,Aleppo, He wants to keep studying English and be reunited with his brother in Germany. He was a year into studying English when the revolution happened. He's been in Idomeni for 33 days, when in Syria he was scared of the Syrian and Russian bombs. He says his dreams are broken because of the regime.
